Official: Atletico Madrid settle deal for Thomas Lemar

Madrid - Atletico Madrid have announced they have reached a preliminary agreement with French club Monaco to join Thomas Lemar, who is currently preparing for the World Cup.

The Spanish club added that he and his French counterpart are working to complete all details to close the deal in the coming hours, and return directly to the Spanish club after the World Cup.

Atletico Madrid reviewed the information on 22-year-old Thomas Limar, who is 1.70 meters tall and plays mainly in the center of the left wing.

Limar began his professional career as Frenchman in the 2013/2014 season, before moving to Monaco in the summer of 2015, where he brilliantly starred in the French team in the 2016/2017 season and has become a target for many of the world's top clubs.

Limar was on the verge of moving to Liverpool in the summer of 2017, but the deal has faltered in the last few hours, and Arsenal was keen to get his services, but Atletico Madrid managed to resolve the deal.
